Film Mechanic Studio is a Fiverr Pro-certified and government-registered post-production studio (MSME UDYAM-AS-03-0026692) based in Guwahati, Assam. We collaborate with filmmakers, brands, agencies, and NGOs across India and globally.Founded by FTII and NYFA-trained editor Jyotirmoy Mazumdar, with professional credits on Netflix, ZEE5, Apple TV, and the award-winning short film Koli, we bring a decade of editorial expertise to every story.We specialize in cinematic editing and DaVinci Resolve colour grading, delivering polished, emotionally resonant visuals for fiction, documentary, branded content, and OTT projects.With verified credentials and a festival-proven body of work, we combine industry-grade precision with an independent filmmaker’s heart.

About Our Founder

Jyotirmoy Mazumdar is a film editor, writer, and graduate of FTII and the New York Film Academy. He has worked as Associate Editor on acclaimed Netflix originals like Qala and Mai, and on Despatch for ZEE5. He also edited India Bites with Shrimoyee, a travel food series for Apple TV. With over a decade of experience across fiction, documentary, and branded content, he founded Film Mechanic Studio to bring cinematic precision and narrative depth to every frame.
